Recent Times

Throughout the 1980's and early '90's Phil & Gaye were members of the North Carolina Touring Roster.

It was during this time that they released their double CD Phil and Gaye Johnson - Live "Mountain Flower / "The Lost Broadcast" (ASTER 2001/2002)

Phil's storytelling efforts lead him to create a style he calls SongTelling which can be heard on his 1995 release SongTelling in the Blue Ridge - "Beyond the Blue Mountain" (ASTER 3001)
