The mountains of the Southern Appalachians are a natural treasure trove of Elizabethan ballads, native folklore and Celtic traditions. Visitors the world over arrive each year to seek them out. Western North Carolina continues to share these heritage assets with several other states but now the Carolina Blue Ridge region can tell its story through a unique convergence of multimedia sights and sounds.

Since 1998 RadioYUR.com has focused on the influence of traditional music innovators who take their inspiration from these “hills of home”. From the folk artistry of radio and recording pioneers of the 1920’s through today’s modern Folk musicians, a “Carolina sound” through consistent exposure is beginning to emerge as a distinct measure of regional lifestyle and art.

A custom playlist can include:

• a KingPup Radio Show showcasing local talent
• songs and stories of the area performed by artists who live in the region
• special programming that might reveal the true heritage of your community


These playlists will remain in permanent rotation on the RadioYUR.com website and will also be made available as a free podcast download from a variety of sources allowing for later access.

In addition a playlist link will be made available to each partners’ website allowing your visitors to listen to a professionally produced soundtrack while visiting your site.
